Directory of local councils supporting families to start their cloth nappy journey

Posted by Kyla Geen on

Forward-thinking councils across Australia offer cloth nappy rebates, subsidies and workshops to reduce waste and support clean, green and sustainable communities. We’ve rounded up a directory of local council services that support cloth nappy use to help make the transition to cloth nappies even easier.

Don’t see your council listed?

If your council is not yet on board yet, take action and encourage your council to offer a cloth nappy rebate or subsidy. We’ve got tips and suggestions to help you take action—we’ve even penned a letter template for you to download and use right away. Visit our blog to get your council on board with cloth nappies here.

Have we missed something?

Please note that we try to keep this directory as up to date as possible and this list is current as of August 2021. If you notice your council doing something to support cloth nappy use but don't see them here, please contact us here and we’ll add them to the list.

  • Hi there,

I hop this finds you well.

I visited your website for local councils supporting families to start their cloth nappy journey, and Liverpool City Council is not there.

Liverpool City council has been providing Nappy rebates for years now. Can you please update your list and add Liverpool City Council (NSW, Australia) to the list?

    I appreciate your help.

    Kind regards,
    Archana Maharjan
